I’ve done it! I’ve done it! After 13 years of spending every waking moment at the computer learning and writing stories, I’m finally ready to publish. I started this journey with the hopes of publishing historical romance because I was tired of spending my money on crappy books.
Little did I know the first thing I published would be a contemporary romance about voyeurism and exhibitionism. Voyeur in the Mist was a three-year project that took on a life of its own. The whole story came about on a dare. I thought voyeur in the mist sounded like a great title for a romance book. The next thing I knew, I was dared to write it and write it I did.
Three years of working on the story, putting it away in the back of the closet, and hauling it back out to make it shiny. I’ve done my homework, gotten critiques and beta reads. I think it’s ready for the world. The cover was a gift from a friend, who just so happens to be the co-owner and editor in chief ofMugwump Press. Thank you, Megan Lewis. Taylor Fox did the formatting and all of the graphic advertisements. Then I just followed the step-by-step instructions to publish it on Amazon.
I give you, Voyeur in the Mist.

I’ve invited a really good erotica writer to join us this week for an interview. Imogen Keeper, better known as Immy. Her favorite things are maternity pants, family, friends, orchids, tough critiques, and blueberries. She isn’t sure who she likes more Steve Harvey or Khai but both are her favorite people in the universe, or so she says. Not only does Immy write steamy romance, she also puts pen to paper in Urban Fantasy.
It’s the first Monday of the month, which means it’s time for an interview with a romance author. Lynn Miller is a great storyteller, and I’m in love with the paranormal romance she is working on. She is a businesswoman, a wife, and a mother who takes care of her grandmother. A work at home mom, she runs a Software Development company with her husband. Ivy is from my neck of the woods, Texas. I haven’t known her for very long, but I have had the chance to read the story she will be publishing in the Fall of 2016. Once she found the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) a few years ago, she got inspired to publish her own stories. Her passion is romance. She loves cooking, travel, wine, whiskey, and karaoke. Not necessarily in that order. Here she is, Ivy Nelson. Continue reading “Author Interview – Ivy Nelson”→
