Kane Sah lives his life in a straight line. Years ago, personal tragedy dropped a little girl into his world who needed him above everything else. A military career crushed because of her, he fell back on years of dance training and opened a ballroom studio. But between his business and little Kelsey, there’s no room in his days for a detour.
Until one night, a pair of brown eyes makes him look left…
Willa is everyone’s favorite bartender at Nero Nites. But lately, life behind the bar at the nightclub has been bland as day-old pilsner. That is, until a chance dance lesson in the arms of a man with a voice like a summer storm bursts open her world with music and sensuality.
But responsibilities don’t stop for infatuation. And memories of growing up in a mud-puddle-nothing town get in the way.
Can the melody and rhythm of love drown out the doubts?
A love story novella about taking chances for the heart.
A romance that glows under August Nights.
I met Barbara in an online writing community over ten years ago. After studying English Language and Literature at the University at Birmingham, she has published over 40 books in her writing career with more coming every year. Her genre of choice is Romantica, MF, MMF, and MM with a great mix of comedy. She writes contemporary, historical, paranormal, Scifi, thrillers and more. I love her stories. Not only does she self-publish, she was well known at Ellora’s Cave and Samhain. Forever, she will be popular at Loose Id, and Decadent Publishing. First Monday of the month always brings good romance. This Monday I’m interviewing a fabulous romance author, Renee Grace Thompson. I met Renee in an online writing site, and we fell in together well. She writes good romance, she has a hella great sense of humor, and she is a cool person.
A prolific writer, she has several stories coming out this year and early next year. Personally, I can’t wait to read them.
I’ve done it! I’ve done it! After 13 years of spending every waking moment at the computer learning and writing stories, I’m finally ready to publish. I started this journey with the hopes of publishing historical romance because I was tired of spending my money on crappy books.
Little did I know the first thing I published would be a contemporary romance about voyeurism and exhibitionism. Voyeur in the Mist was a three-year project that took on a life of its own. The whole story came about on a dare. I thought voyeur in the mist sounded like a great title for a romance book. The next thing I knew, I was dared to write it and write it I did.
Three years of working on the story, putting it away in the back of the closet, and hauling it back out to make it shiny. I’ve done my homework, gotten critiques and beta reads. I think it’s ready for the world. The cover was a gift from a friend, who just so happens to be the co-owner and editor in chief ofMugwump Press. Thank you, Megan Lewis. Taylor Fox did the formatting and all of the graphic advertisements. Then I just followed the step-by-step instructions to publish it on Amazon.
I give you, Voyeur in the Mist.
Some women dream of flowers, of romance. Susan isn’t one of those women. Her secret dream is to be watched through her bedroom window.
