Do you like fairy tales? Sonya M. Black is your author. She adds just the right amount of angst to make your average fairy tale twisted. I met her on a writing site we are both members of, and she can weave a story like nobodies business. Her stories are full of twists and turns and surprises. I think you will enjoy her writing, her worlds, and her characters. Continue reading “Author Interview – Sonya M. Black”
I’m going to start this year’s mixed genre author interview series with Elise Edmonds. If you have young adults in your house, it can be hard to get them into reading for pleasure. Give them one of Elise’s books. She will take them on a ride that will turn them into book lovers for the rest of their lives. She writes in her spare time, giving others a peek through enchanting doorways. Continue reading “Author Interview – Elise Edmonds”

This week I wanted to introduce you to a really good fantasy writer, Kristen Kooistra. She is a stay-at-home mom who feels like she was probably born in the wrong era. Being home with her kids and doing things that most people her age would hate, means she has fun with life. She loves to dance to techno-pop, Star Wars, Renaissance Festivals, and Dr. Pepper is a weakness. If it involves fun on the water, she’s there jetskiing, swimming, or any water sport on a dare.
I met Gary Wedlund in an online writing forum a few years ago. He’s from Hilliard, Ohio, and he writes in many different genres. Historic Fantasy, Zombie Horror, Post-apocalyptic, and Paranormal just to name a few. He writes, he plays music, and he paints. Be sure to stop by here and take a look at some of his watercolors. Absolutely amazing work. Continue reading “Author Interview – Gary Wedlund”
I met H. (Heidi) L. Burke a few years ago in a writing group. I’ve always loved her stories, and I’m very happy for her success. Back when we first met, she was an epic fantasy fan, and she’s moved into writing some great young adult novels. She loves to crochet while spinning new story ideas around in her head. May I present, H. L. Burke, the writer of fantasy, young adult, middle grade, and steampunk. Continue reading “Author Interview – H. L. Burke”
