Book Reviews- Animus and Night Fire

Ophelia Bell is such a great author, I couldn’t pick just one. Here are two book reviews instead.

A little about Ophelia First:

Ophelia Bell loves a good bad-boy and especially strong women in her stories. Women who aren’t apologetic about enjoying sex and bad boys who don’t mind being with a woman who’s in charge, at least on the surface, because pretty much anything goes in the bedroom.

Ophelia grew up on a rural farm in North Carolina and now lives in Los Angeles with her own tattooed bad-boy husband and four attention-whoring cats.

If you’d like to receive regular updates on Ophelia’s publications, freebies, and discounts, please subscribe to her mailing list. Continue reading “Book Reviews- Animus and Night Fire”

Author Interview – Barbara Elsborg

barb

I met Barbara in an online writing community over ten years ago. After studying English Language and Literature at the University at Birmingham, she has published over 40 books in her writing career with more coming every year. Her genre of choice is Romantica,  MF, MMF, and MM with a great mix of comedy. She writes contemporary, historical, paranormal, Scifi, thrillers and more. I love her stories. Not only does she self-publish, she was well known at Ellora’s Cave and Samhain. Forever, she will be popular at Loose Id, and Decadent Publishing. Author Interview – Milli Gilbert

The first Monday of the month brings another great romance author, Milli Gilbert. Her celebrity crushes are Tom Hiddleston and Benedict Cumberbatch. She used to be a closeted nerd, and then someone opened the door to writing and she didn’t just walk through it, she jumped over the threshold. Her first novel, Nerdgasm is scheduled for release on Black Friday of 2017.

I am honored to introduce, Milli Gilbert. Continue reading “Author Interview – Milli Gilbert”

Author Interview – Kathryn L. James

This Monday I’d like to introduce you to a personal friend of mine who just so happens to write fantastic, steamy romance. I’ve known Kathryn L. James for almost ten years, we’ve worked together in the medical field, and we don’t live far from each other. She works with a team that saves lives by day, and then she retreats to her writing cave to create hot alpha males and beautiful independent women with great plots and settings by night. Monday Madness – I’m publishing

I’ve done it! I’ve done it! After 13 years of spending every waking moment at the computer learning and writing stories, I’m finally ready to publish. I started this journey with the hopes of publishing historical romance because I was tired of spending my money on crappy books.

Little did I know the first thing I published would be a contemporary romance about voyeurism and exhibitionism. Voyeur in the Mist was a three-year project that took on a life of its own. The whole story came about on a dare. I thought voyeur in the mist sounded like a great title for a romance book. The next thing I knew, I was dared to write it and write it I did.

Three years of working on the story, putting it away in the back of the closet, and hauling it back out to make it shiny. I’ve done my homework, gotten critiques and beta reads. I think it’s ready for the world. The cover was a gift from a friend, who just so happens to be the co-owner and editor in chief of Mugwump Press. Thank you, Megan Lewis. Taylor Fox did the formatting and all of the graphic advertisements. Then I just followed the step-by-step instructions to publish it on Amazon.

I give you, Voyeur in the Mist.

Some women dream of flowers, of romance. Susan isn’t one of those women. Her secret dream is to be watched through her bedroom window. As a high school teacher, she tries her best to hide her desire, but her inner exhibitionist wants out. A chance encounter at the Dentist’s office might just be what Susan needs to finally get what she has always dreamed about. Now all she has to do is to convince the mysterious man to help her.

Justin’s life as a molecular biologist is on the fast-track to a promising future. He enjoys his quiet life, dating no one in particular, but that all changes when he bumps into a pretty young woman with kinky sexual ideas, that skirt the law. Her exciting inclinations arouse him, filling him with an undeniable urge to join in her escapades.

Will they risk everything for an exciting sex life or play it safe?
